Women: Sleep and Your Period

For women, obtaining sleep can be difficult in the days before and during their periods. Along with common symptoms such as headaches, cramps and bloating, hormonal changes may make sleep nearly impossible with constant disturbances.

In fact, according the National Sleep Foundation, 23% of women say their sleep is more disturbed in the week before their period, while 30% of women report sleep disruptions during menstruation.
